Originally from Atlanta Georgia, Ami was creative and artistically expressive at an early
age. When she attended High School in the North Georgia Mountains she quickly became
frustrated over the lack of curriculum in her art class. She formed an Art Club at her high
school and organized face painting at local festivals and also painted store front windows
for the holidays in order to raise money for art supplies. It wasn't long before the
administration decided to hire a 'real' art instructor from the local college who became
instrumental in refining her skills. In her senior year she received the award for
'Most Outstanding Student in Visual Arts".

After high school, while working at an art supply store, she was offered a position as a
commercial artist, designing outdoor lighted seasonal displays.  She would design and
draw conceptual art for client selection, working one-on-one with clients to achieve a
design that best fit their needs and style.
Her designs can be seen seasonally in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; Cyprus Gardens, Florida;
and in various locations throughout Georgia.

In the past 15 years she has worked as a full time career Nanny while obtaining her
certification in Early Childhood Development. Ami is very dedicated to the children in her
care, and strives to be a positive influence in their lives, assisting with not only their day to
day needs, but nurturing their overall emotional growth as well. Ami sees her role as a
child care provider not as a job, but as an important part of her life.

In addition to her love for doll making, and her career as a Nanny, Ami also enjoys working as a face painter and
costumed activity leader at children's birthday parties.

Ami has developed and managed Birthday party programs and special events in Los Angeles at various locations,
including The Palos Verdes Art Center and Fairies and Dragons Parties.
